Your Team

You will work with a diverse team to help to build the global KYC Platform for the organisation. It will tackle use-cases such as customer self-onboarding, due diligence and ongoing monitoring. You will become expert in KYC/AML regulations in EU and implement that in practice. KYC Platform is critical to onboard reliable customers instantly and is integral to business growth making it a strategic project.
Your team will use technologies such as Java, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Spring Boot, Hibernate, gRPC, Docker and AWS to create a scalable system keeping risk profiles of hundreds of thousands merchants. Team will be integrating with plenty of external government and third-party APIs to gather as much intelligence about the customer as possible. Risk scoring algorithms will be implemented in no-code/low-code paradigm to allow swift modifications as market conditions change.

On a regular day as a Web Engineer at SaltPay, you will:

• Write clean, secure, and well-tested code to solve business problems
• Participate in writing simple, portable and efficient Web applications
• Incorporate automation best practices to reduce the chances of repetition/waste and human error
• Build external and internal front-ends to scale the effectiveness of products across the business
• Liaise with UX team on user behaviour testing results, wireframes and mockups in Figma
• Collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and across the organisation to achieve the team’s goals
• Serve as a mentor and supporter for fellow developers and team-mates
• Continuously work to improve while being empathetic and considerate with others 

Your Story

• Experience in development web applications across multiple products
• Working knowledge of web application development namely HTML, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, OWASP security principles, REST, GraphQL, and build pipelines
• Knowledge on how to design and build efficient component libraries
• Dedication to modern, simple yet efficient UI design
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Strong knowledge of software development life-cycle and processes
• Metrics driven mind-set
• Good level in English, close to fluent
