SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (PHP)

- Development of Symfony framework based applications for local and international customers
- Following Agile practices
- Reading code & Writing code
- Writing automated tests
- Performing Code Reviews
- Researching, studying and using innovative open-source technologies
- Designing software for scalability and high-load
- Code optimization & refactoring
- At least 5 years of experience of active development with PHP
- Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Concepts, Design Patterns and Principles
- In-depth knowledge of SQL (MySQL is a must, MS SQL considered a plus)
- Experience with Symfony (preferred) or with any other modern PHP framework
- Debugging, profiling and performance optimization experience
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is required, but we have a separate role of Front-end developer in every team
- Experience with React is considered a plus
- Good understanding of Linux, clustering, load-balancing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is considered a plus
- In-depth experience with ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Apache Cassandra will be considered as a huge plus
- At least upper-intermediate level of English
- Understanding of Agile principles
- A degree in Computer Science, IT or related field is considered a plus
