Rimi Baltic Accounting department is looking for a proactive individual who would support and implement different accounting and tax related initiatives and systems. Finance project specialist will report to Accounting and Tax manager and will have no direct reports.

If you have: 

• University degree in Finance/Economics or Business Administration supported by advanced Excel and other application users skills;
• At least 2 years job experience in Finance including experience in accounting/ tax accounting with proven achievement record;
• Readiness to improve the professional and technical knowledge;
• Forward looking mind-set for process analysis and finding solutions;
• Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a benefit. 

We will entrust you: 

• The key role in some of Rimi accounting related systems and applications, supporting and training end-users in Baltic countries;
• Identification of risks, problem areas and opportunities, driving process improvements, participation in different accounting related projects, processes and system developments;
• Responsible for maintenance and implementation of necessary improvements of accounting related systems and applications;
• Involvement in monthly closing activities;
• Responsible for natural resource tax reporting in Latvia, ensuring timely and correct data for the tax and group reporting related to natural resource tax.

 Compensation:

Salary 1700.00 EUR – 2100.00 EUR per month before taxes. Salary will depend on assessment of candidate’s competencies, experience and skills relevant to job requirements.
