Job description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Web Analytics Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing web analytics tools, such as GTM, GA, Hotjar, and Optimizely, as well as preparing tracking requirements that align with business needs and working with our IT department to implement them.
Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and testing the tagging strategy to ensure it has been implemented correctly, monitoring the effectiveness of analytics implementation strategies, setting up and maintaining dashboards, and providing recommendations for best practices regarding the analytics tools' governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and optimization of web analytics tools
- Preparation of tracking requirements that align with business needs
- Working with IT department to implement tracking requirements
- Monitoring and testing of tagging strategy
- Monitoring the effectiveness of analytics implementation strategies
- Setting up and maintaining dashboards
- Providing recommendations for best practices regarding analytics tools' governance
- Managing the demands of several internal stakeholders based worldwide
- Be overall responsible for the web analytics tools (Google Tag Manager, hotjar, ..)
- Close contact with dev team (IT), internal stakeholders & web analytics team to understand/explain the tagging requirements & provide technical advice
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in web analytics
- Experience with using any web analytics solution (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
- Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript with the ability to write custom tagging scripts when needed
- Expertise with any web tagging management solution like Google Tag Manager
- Knowledge of MS Excel
- Fluent English
- Ability to work independently and cohesively as a team player
- Being perfectionist and detailed oriented
Nice to have skills:
- Basic knowledge of SQL is required.
- Power BI to create dashboards
- Python in the context of data analysis
