Responsibilities

As scandiweb is rapidly growing and expanding, we are actively looking for new talents to join us and support our Business Development team.

Your responsibility will include sourcing opportunities from our existing and new accounts, quality them, and converting them into new business.

We follow a consultative approach to sales, so it is not about sales in the first place, but identifying the value we provide for the customers.

Your focus will be solely on scandiweb Growth team - a place where we help our eCommerce clients improve eCommerce business results via Conversion Optimization, Search Engine Optimization, Performance Marketing, Email Marketing, and Loyalty Platforms.

What is it like to be a Junior Business Developer for Marketing?

As a junior, you will have mentoring and pair work with senior colleagues to reach the “expert” level. 

  • Understand scandiweb customers' crucial needs and pain points
  • Know what services scandiweb's Growth Marketing team offers - SEO, PPC, CRO, Data, and Email Marketing
  • Create tailored growth solutions for our clients 
  • Support Marketing Business Developer Lead in day-to-day activities, from contract preparation to new offers
  • Join every part of the sales process for both inbound and outbound leads (intro calls, offers preparation, solutionizing)
  • Keep CRM up-to-date with a precise action list required to close a deal!
  • Take ownership of deals and keep them updated
  • Closely collaborate with Sales and Marketing team leads

What do we expect?

  • Someone who is well-organized and structured
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident spoken and written English skills 
  • Understanding of Digital Marketing and eCommerce 
    • What does it take to launch a new eCommerce store from zero? What eCommerce platforms are available out there?
    • What are Facebook Ads? CRO? SEO? You would need to navigate the Digital Marketing sphere on a high level.
  • Willingness to learn
  • Self-motivation and proactive approach
  • Great time management skills 
  • Practical experience in either Digital Marketing services is a bonus
  • Previous work experience in sales or business development is a bonus

Do take it into account - if you are joining scandiweb remotely, you will need to have your own hardware setup. After the probation period, a hardware upgrade can be agreed upon.
