AML Officer is responsible for documenting anti-financial crime operational activities, align processes and procedures, participate in risk management activities and projects related to the area. In addition, you will be performing quality assurance activities, managing compliance and internal audit gaps as well as providing trainings to organization. You will be trusted to implement action plans and recommendations.

What You Will Do:

Develop and maintain procedures in anti-financial crime area (KYC, monitoring and screening) following established MakeCommerce standards, regulatory requirements, and international best practices
Maintain Governance for Risk Committee (procedure, follow-up on decision implementation).
Lead projects related to AML operations (coordinating work group activities, aligning process implementation plans)
Participate in due diligence processes for MakeCommerce counterparts (banks and other financial institutions)
Preparing reports for local partners and the regulator based on request
Proactively participate in the identification and assessment of compliance risks associated with the business activities and propose solutions for control developments to ensure customer related risks are managed effectively
Report on regular basis and upon request to the direct manager and Management Board

What We Expect:

3+ years of experience in AML/CFT and/or Sanctions regulations area
Previous experience with ecommerce will be considered as an advantage
Documenting and reporting skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Pro-activeness and commitment to results
Ability to independently manage one’s job
Good time management skills and attention to details
Fluent English and Latvian is required in spoken and written communication

Gross salary range 1900-2600 EUR/month, which is to be determined depending on your level of experience and competencies
