You will work with several clients in a broad range of industries, identifying key areas of opportunity and carry out search engine optimisation on websites to meet these goals. You must have some prior understanding of SEO and Google Analytics as well as have a keen interest in e-commerce. Any additional technical knowledge related to web or search is also greatly beneficial but not required.

You will be responsible for carrying out all SEO activities including SEO audits, on-page optimisation, link building, keyword strategy and more to increase a website’s rankings on search engines. You will also work closely with our web development department and assist in ensuring new site launches meet a good SEO standard. Because of this, you will need to be able to prioritise work and have a strong attention to detail to effectively manage day to day activities.

Good relationships are based on transparency and trust. As such, you will communicate with clients whose SEO you manage on a regular basis and ensure that the SEO performance is meeting their expectations. You will go over monthly SEO reports and be confident in making the appropriate recommendations based on your analysis of results. 

As an SEO Specialist, you will report to the Lead SEO Specialist and line manager.

• Proven record of successful SEO work.
• 2+ years previous SEO role experience - ideally in an agency.
• Advanced understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
• Experience working with SEO tools
• Experience working on various content management systems, such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, etc.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
