Requirements for candidates

What can you bring to our team:

10+ years of experience working in digital operations for large organizations, agencies or startups
Fluent English language (written and oral)

Strong functional expertise in Social Media Management and demonstrated curiosity to continue building capabilities

Experience leveraging digital services/channels and tactics to engage with patients and customers; fluent in consumer, patient and healthcare professional marketing and communication principles and best practices

Extensive experience in people development, coaching, and leadership

Demonstrated experience creating a vision and strategic plans that influence department initiatives

Substantial experience working with diverse senior leaders in a matrixed, international and multicultural environment

About the Global Digital Hub:

The Global Digital Hub has newly been established within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Website Management, Marketing Automation, Copywriting and Creative Design.


About the position:

As a member of the Global Digital Hub Team, you will work to ensure fulfillment of the Global Digital Hub long term outcomes and strategy as well as excellent delivery of priorities. You will inspire and engage the chapter members to collaborate across the network and exponentially contribute towards Roches Ten Year Ambitions. You will also be accountable for driving the embedding of the new operating model and will role model agile collaboration.

The Chapter Lead has overall responsibility for the strategic vision and direction of the chapter and continuously seeks opportunities for innovation and value creation. This critical position has a global scope, leading a diverse team across the world.

The Social Media Chapter lead will make a vital contribution to shaping the future of the Global Digital Hub by developing cutting-edge social media capabilities and supporting the development of colleagues across the organization. This challenging position will create unique opportunities to further grow, learn new leadership and functional skills, and deepen the understanding of the different Social Media capabilities such as Campaign Management, Intelligence, Community Management and Channel Strategy.


Your day to day responsibilities are:

Provide strategic leadership for the chapter including setting the vision and strategy, planning, budgeting, governance and organization design of the chapter

Ensure the Chapter team members have the required proficiency to execute work packages, deliver the Chapters objectives and seek ways of continuously improvin

Be accountable for and foster capability development of the team members

Find, attract, develop and retain talent commensurate with evolving function and Business needs, reflecting the diverse world around us at all levels

Enable talent to flow to where people and their expertise are needed most within the Business with an eye to both contribution and development

Monitor and drive completion of work on a global level

Ensure adherence to governance and delegations of authority

Ensure continuous innovation to deliver leading edge, fit for purpose solutions to the organization

Define quality standards, service level agreements and KPIs for the practice

Participate in the staffing, coaching, developing of chapter employees

Be accountable for driving the embedding of the new operating model and will role model agile collaboration

Monitor the digital marketing landscape; assessing and highlighting trends, identifying and highlighting new technologies, and potential opportunities/challenges for the organization

Collaborate effectively with different Chapters and other RSS organizations for business impact and to deliver on business and RSS strategies

Establish and drive the capability strategy for a given chapter to meet the needs of our Business Partners
