HyperVR Games are creating fun and interactive virtual reality (VR) experiences for everyone. We are a team of gamedev and VR experts backed by the founders of leading gamedev companies in the Baltic states with a total of 1B+ installs across platforms. With the launch of our award winning title “Shave & Stuff” on the Meta Quest Store this Apr and new titles coming, we are looking to strengthen our in-house marketing team. The Marketing Lead will manage both in-house and outsourced marketing studios and creators, expand the marketing team, create and implement the marketing strategy for current and future products. This role is crucial for the healthy growth of the company as you will take part in decision making in regards to the future marketing and partnerships directions.

Duties and responsibilities
- Be responsible for the HyperVR products' brand publicity strategy development and implementation - expand brand awareness and devise visible and effective player acquisition strategies and execution (inbound and outbound, advertising, SEO, influencer marketing, community management, conferences, and events, etc.);
- Organize and manage marketing B2B business pipeline (partners, agencies, etc.), ensuring that leads are appropriately prioritized, documentation is captured and kept up to date, and timelines are adhered to;
- Manage in-house and external marketing teams to expand HyperVR social media presence on Twitter, Meta, and other sites as needed by posting and sharing relevant content and company announcements;
- Develop compelling and customized pitch, proposal, and marketing materials together with the design team according to the current trends and needs of the relevant social media platform;
- Support brand consistency across external communications, functioning as an advocate for a polished and cohesive “look and feel” (i.e., decks, letterhead, swag);
- Ensure website is kept up to date with language, outcomes, and content;
- Project manage contracting processes by ensuring timely input request/review from HyperVR functional stakeholders (i.e., eng, ops, finance);
- Serve as tactical liaison for a Product Management team to provide the most accurate and relevant information to help drive meaningful business decisions;
- Build reports or dashboards that track performance against goals.

Skills
- 5+ years of experience in relevant areas of digital marketing and social media, preferably in game development industry;
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, sales, marketing, advertising, or other related disciplines considered as advantage;
- Excellent literacy in verbal and written English;
- Experience working in startup would have an added advantage;
- Ability to identify opportunities, develop project scope and the ability to do both - either delegate or independently lead ideation and execution.
Software
- Social media scheduling, automation and profile management;
- Content creation (Giphy, Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements, Adobe Spark etc.);
- Email marketing and subscription management (MailChimp etc,);
- Advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, YouTube etc.);
- Project management software (Notion, JIRA, Trello etc.);
- Data reporting and analysis (Google Analytics etc.).

Our goal is to make our experiences available to the players in the major platform VR stores around the world.
Our latest title “Shave & Stuff” was awarded a “Best in Play” title by the Game Developers Conference 2023 and has just been released on the official Meta Quest Store this April. The game has been enjoyed by 155 000+ players and counting. While we continue working on the “Shave & Stuff” our new titles are on the way and we are looking to expand the team and invite a Marketing Lead to join us so that together we can reach out to more players, build our community and grow it in the long term.
