The company is expanding in Latvia and invites you to join their team as
ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
- Document financial transactions by entering account information
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and generally accepted accounting procedures
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in finances or a similar field
- At least 2 years of experience in a relevant field
- Very knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, awareness of business trends
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
- Eager to learn and good work ethic
- Strong computer knowledge MS Office, accounting software and data analytics tools
- Very good Latvian and good English language skills
