At least 5-year experience in the legal field
Excellent knowledge of Latvian and English, including legal writing, good knowledge of Russian
Desire to work in the IT and payment industry

Good understanding of AML principles, laws, and regulations
Basic understanding of personal data protection principles, laws, and regulations
Excellent ability to work both in a team and independently
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Willingness to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
Ability to make decisions and take responsibility
Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proactive attitude
Previous work experience in the IT or payment industry will be considered an advantage
DPO, CAMS, CGSS, or any similar legal certification will be considered an advantage

Provide legal advice and support to the leadership team and structural units, as well as DECTA group companies
Draft, review, and negotiate agreements
Draft and maintain agreement templates in the fast-paced FinTech industry where new product offering is everyday business
Draft any other necessary legal documents in the corporate and regulatory field (decisions, meeting minutes, letters, claims, certifications, etc.)
Provide legal support in drafting internal policies, procedures, etc.
Manage legal support functions across DECTA group companies and outsourced legal service providers
Participate in AML and KYC-related processes
Follow that DECTA complies with applicable rules and regulations
Assess and guard DECTA against legal risks
Be ready to get involved in ad-hoc projects and provide advice accordingly
