Who are you!

We imagine that you have background in one or more of the following job areas: Geospatial analysis and map production, Land survey, Road and land infrastructure planning, State forest service, Geological survey.

Requirements for the candidates

Documented skills and experience in the use of the programme ArcGIS PRO with the main focus on spatial analysis.
Experience with Esri Enterprise base deployment setup and architecture.
Education in the areas of geodesy, geomatics, IT or equivalent.
Analytical and systematic approach to issue resolution.
Sound level of organizational and coordination skills.
Proficiency in English as the primary working language at the HQ is English.
Military background will be considered an advantage.

Main Tasks

As a land focused military organisation the main focus area is terrain, road network and infrastructure in general. Thats where the main focus of you work will be.

Performs geospatial tasks related to HQ MND-N requirements, which includes the production of both digital overlays and paper maps and spatial analysis based on approved data.
Assists in general geospatial data management based on Esri Enterprise software.
Handles and visualizes spatial data in 3D.
Maintains the sections SharePoint page with relevant geospatial information.
Performs a range of work, sometimes complex and non-routine, in a variety of environments.

Headquarters (HQ) Multinational Division North (HQ MND N) was founded in March 2019 as part of NATOs deterrence and collective defence plan of the Baltic region. HQ MND N is located in Adazi Military Base. In peacetime the HQ have operational control of the international forces in the region and prepares for taking command of divisional forces in case of crisis or war. The HQ also supports the national defence forces in the region with their operational planning and training. The HQ is a part of NATO Force Structure.
