Head of Project Management

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and implement project management processes. Establish and refine project management methodologies, tools, and templates to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects.

- Lead project teams: Build and manage high-performing project teams, including assigning roles and responsibilities, setting goals, and providing guidance and support.

- Manage project budgets and timelines: Develop and monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Identify and mitigate project risks: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that projects are completed successfully.

- Communicate project status: Communicate project status to stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned.

- Manage project documentation: Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and other project-related materials.

- Manage project scope: Define and manage project scope, ensuring that projects stay on track and within the defined scope.

- Manage project resources: Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.

- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients and partners, ensuring that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.

- Continuously improve project management processes: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies, ensuring that the organization is always operating at peak efficiency.

Requirements:

- Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business.

- 3+ years experience in Project Management.

- Demonstrated experience in leading a Project Management Office with 3+ years of experience leading a PMO.

- Professional certificates for Project Management (PMI, PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, etc) as a plus.

- Excellent English Language, both written and spoken. German, Swedish language as a plus.

- Ability to handle multiple projects, manage priorities, and maintain project plans in an organized manner.

- Ability to effectively create a collaborative, team-oriented environment including mentoring and motivating team members to be accountable.

- High level of emotional intelligence, influencing skills, and communication skills.

- Ability to innovate and create strategies that significantly improve Project Delivery practices that enable the organization to achieve business results.

- Analyse project data, prepare, and present project reports and projections.

- Strong business and financial acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and business analysis skills
