Essential Skills and Experience relevant to the role:

As a must - strong understanding in managing Windows-based servers, server roles, Active Directory and Group Policies
Experience with performance management and administration of SAN systems (HP, Hitachi, etc.)
In-depth understanding of networking (LAN&WAN) and network security concepts
Experience in using monitoring and log analysis tools (Zabbix, Splunk, etc.)
Understanding configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible etc).
High sense of responsibility and self-discipline, also being a team player
Excellent knowledge of Latvian and English (spoken and written)
Being curious to try new IT-related things and open for technical challenges

Would be considered as an advantage

Experience working with RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux, including support, administration, and performance tuning of Linux
Experience with Solaris/Oracle
Experience with Fortinet appliances / systems

Windows, Linux, VMware, data storage and network infrastructure support, planning, implementation and management
Ensuring smooth operations of services offered by DECTA to the customers around the world
Supporting hybrid (cloud / on-prem) infrastructure
