Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and Optimize Autonomous Drone Software: Design, implement, and maintain software systems that enable fully autonomous inspection of wind turbines.
• 3D LiDAR Data Processing: Work with 3D LiDAR data for precise obstacle avoidance and accurate navigation, developing algorithms for real-time processing and data interpretation.
• DJI SDK Integration: Integrate DJI OSDK and MSDK to manage mission planning, navigation, and data collection.
• Data Analysis and Visualization: Implement software tools for processing, analyzing, and visualizing inspection data, enabling insights into turbine health and performance.
• Testing and Debugging: Conduct rigorous testing and debugging, including in-field tests, to validate system performance and ensure high reliability under various environmental conditions.
• Continuous Improvement and Documentation: Identify and address potential software improvements, maintaining clear documentation for future development and support.

Skills and Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in C++ and Python.
• Strong knowledge of version control (Git), build systems (CMake), compilers (GCC), and debuggers (GDB).
• Experience developing hardware drivers and interfacing with various sensors and actuators for hardware control and data acquisition.
• Extensive experience with software development in Linux, including shell scripting and package management.
• 3+ years of relevant software engineering experience, ideally in robotics, autonomous systems, or UAV development.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and think critically about software-hardware interactions
• Higher education in computer science or IT related field is a strong plus.
