Responsibilities:

Maintain the operation of RETN's data transmission backbone network.
Handle all network issues and, if possible, resolve them independently.
Resolve customer service issues promptly (VPN, data transmission channels, IP transit).
Install and perform initial configuration of RETN's own and customer equipment at the RETNs colocation.
Organise the technical documentation and solution diagram.

Requirements:

Degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Desire to learn and develop in the field of telecommunications.
Good knowledge and understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models.
Good understanding of data transmission network operation principles and equipment (eg. router, switch, multiplexer).
Knowledge of ping and traceroute utility principles.
Proficient in English
