About Us:

ALOJA STARKELSEN is a leading producer of potato starch, plant protein concentrates, specialty flours, and B2C products. We partner with customers to develop tailored solutions, helping them overcome application challenges with our innovative products.

We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our international sales team. This role is ideal for a dynamic and results-driven professional eager to expand our global sales and strengthen customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Act as the first point of contact for local and international customers, ensuring excellent customer support and satisfaction.
  • Sales Development: Expand company sales internationally by acquiring new customers and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Order Management: Maintain existing customers, follow up on recurrent sales, and secure new orders.
  • Market Monitoring: Analyze competitors products, initiatives, and activities, and propose countermeasures when necessary.
  • Sales Forecasting: Provide detailed rolling sales forecasts with a 12-month horizon.
  • Customer Insights: Review customer activities, anticipate their needs, and enhance satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with R&D to ensure projects are completed on time and meet customer expectations.
  • Financial Responsibility: Assess client solvency, work with the CFO to manage credit recovery.
  • Strategic Transformation: Help transition Alojas B2B sales organization from an agent/distributor-based model to a direct sales approach.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record in international sales and customer relationship management, preferably in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required (for communication with international clients); Latvian language skills are an advantage.
  • Education: University degree is required.
  • Other: B-category driving license.
