We are looking for a Data Platform Engineering Manager to join our Dynatech team within the global Dyninno Group.
Dynatech is a multi-product tech hub supporting travel, fintech, and entertech divisions of Dyninno Group with IT, marketing, operations, and administrative expertise. As the Data Platform Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled data engineers and delivering complex internal system development projects across a variety of products and technologies in Data Platform team. Managing the successful delivery of projects will require you to plan, coordinate and lead activities across the full delivery lifecycle. This will include working closely with business and liaising with key project stakeholders. You will grow professionally as an individual and will be able to see and feel the impact you are making on the growth of our company every day.
Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-functional teams like data owners, data scientists, product managers, and business analysts to ensure that the data platform meets the needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure data platforms are integrated effectively with other systems (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, cloud services).
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering.
- Oversee the performance and scalability of data infrastructure, ensuring it can handle large volumes of data and high-throughput workloads.
- Facilitate day-to-day management responsibilities including team support, feedback, open discussions, and time management.
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers in Data Platform team.
- Identify and implement best practices for quality and efficient data engineering.
- Define project functional technical requirements, identify project milestones, phases, and elements needed to complete them.
- Engage and manage project stakeholders to make the project a success.
Requirements:
- Previous experience acting as a developer or data engineer.
- Experience in people management and the ability to lead and motivate others.
- Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of system/software development projects in an international environment.
- Solid project management skills using different methodologies and approaches.
- Good English skills as the company is international and has foreign employees and partners, and the nature of the work requires close cooperation with them.
- Excellent personal organization and ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks.
- Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges.
Will be considered an advantage:
- Experience with Self-Service BI and Analytics (Google Looker).
- Hands-on expertise in ETL process design and implementation and data transformation tools.
- Proficiency in columnar databases, such as AWS Redshift.
- Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (AWS) and hands-on experience with AWS Data Infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, particularly Terraform.
- Experience with automated monitoring, alerting systems, and self-healing architectures.
- Experience with Hadoop / Spark / AWS Glue / Kafka / Python.
- In-depth experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance best practices.

We don't want to set limits, but if we are naming the numbers, then the starting point for this position is no less than 4,300 EUR Gross per month.
