Role Summary

The Implementations Project Manager role focuses on efficient project management, communication facilitation, documentation oversight, issue tracking, and proactive risk mitigation. By bridging the gap between clients and technical teams, the Implementations Project Manager ensures a streamlined implementation process and successful project delivery. 
Key Responsibilities 

Project Management and Initiation: 
  • Organize and lead internal handover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from Sales/Engagement to Implementation. 
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings with clients to establish project objectives, timelines, and expectations. 

Communication and Stakeholder Management: 
  • Arrange and participate in discussions with third-party vendors to align project scope with contractual terms and agreements. 
  • Ensure mutual understanding and alignment among all involved parties. 
  • Ensure timely communication and coordination with the infrastructure team to address project infrastructure requirements. 

Documentation and Reporting: 
  • Verify the completion and alignment of the Product Specification Form with implementation standards and requirements. 
  • Update and maintain infrastructure alignment documentation. 

Support and Coordination: 
  • Collaborate with Technical Implementation Managers, providing coordination and support across various activities, both internal and external. 
  • Assist in cross-functional team coordination and external client interactions as necessary. 

Client/Customer Relationship Management: 
  • Manage ongoing communication between clients, technical implementation teams, and support teams to ensure alignment and progress. 
  • Set up and maintain clear communication channels with clients for day-to-day interactions and updates. 

Tracking and Follow-up: 
  • Monitor and track actions that could potentially impact the implementation plan or project delivery timelines. 
  • Follow up on pending tasks and ensure resolution to avoid delays. 

Issue Escalation: 
  • Identify and proactively escalate potential threats or delays in project delivery. 
  • Seek necessary support and resources to mitigate issues promptly. 

Job description

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite tools. 
  • Good understanding of issuing processing environment. 
  • Knowledge of cards and the payment industry. 
  • Strong communication and project management skills are needed. 
  • Should be able to push back nonstandard requests. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Problem-solving skills and the capacity to adapt to changing project requirements. 
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. 
 
Minimum Qualifications  
Bachelors degree in Business or Engineer; 
Project Management certification is a plus. 
 
Years of Experience  
5 years in project management, preferably in implementation or related roles.
