We are looking for a Head of Quality Assurance Team to join our Trevolution team within Dyninno Group travel division.
Trevolution is a global leader in air ticketing and travel services, serving retail and corporate clients in 50+ markets. With over 20 years of expertise and an entrepreneurial spirit at our core, we combine modern tech with a customer-first approach to simplify travel. We partner with 70+ airlines, offering a full booking experience with expert support focused on value and convenience. Our products, including online sales, call bookings, and semi-OTAs, are continually expanding to meet market trends.
As the Head of Quality Assurance Team, you will be leading, coaching, and growing high-performing QA teams with alignment of business goals.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment:
- Define and drive the overall QA strategy, aligned with product and business objectives.
- Ensure quality goals support broader company KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Leadership to align QA activities with product roadmaps and release plans.
Team Leadership & People Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of 35 QA professionals, including 5 Team Leads across multiple product domains and countries.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and structured feedback.
- Develop and maintain career paths, growth frameworks, and promotion criteria for all QA roles.
- Champion team culture, motivation, and psychological safety within QA and across engineering.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to define and execute QA strategy aligned with business goals.
- Experience leading cross-functional QA teams across multiple projects or geographies.
- Deep knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong understanding of automated, manual, and performance testing.
- Previous proven experience with test API/UI automation frameworks based on Java/Js(e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Ability to identify automation opportunities and drive CI/CD integration.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Ability to read and review code, logs, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps environments.
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, Postman, Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills;
- Good knowledge of Latvian, as well as English language as the company is international and has foreign employees and partners, and the nature of the work requires close cooperation with them.
There is no one-size-fits-all here, we are quite flexible and use an individual approach with every Candidate we meet. We don't want to set limits, but if we are naming the numbers, then the salary for this position starts from 5,500 EUR gross per month depending on the applicant's professional experience in the relevant field.
