On behalf of our Client, we are now searching for a bright professional for the role of
IMPACT AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER | Baltics
who brings energy, innovation, and a passion for sustainability to drive impactful communications in a fast-moving, high-visibility international environment.
Your key responsibilities and impact will be to:
Driving Impact & Purpose
- Lead the Impact strategy for McDonalds Baltics, creating tangible value for people, planet, and business while protecting McDonalds license to operate.
- Shape and deliver the communications, ESG, and sustainability roadmap, aligned with global priorities and local market goals.
- Partner with the Premier Capital Director of Communications and BU Impact Lead to ensure strategic alignment, governance consistency, and best practice sharing.
- Oversee all communications and stakeholder engagement: from PR, media, and brand advocacy to internal storytelling, to strengthen brand trust and corporate reputation.
- Support marketing and brand initiatives (product launches, service innovation, food quality, sustainability) through clear, engaging, and authentic communication.
- Manage ESG reporting and annual Impact planning, ensuring transparency, accountability, and measurable progress.
- Oversee the Communications & Impact budget, maximizing efficiency and return on reputation.
Leading Collaboration & Culture
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to embed sustainability and purpose in everyday business operations.
- Inspire a culture of openness, accountability, and shared ownership of McDonalds Impact goals across teams.
Protecting Reputation & Managing Risk
- Monitor media and public sentiment, providing timely insights and counsel to leadership.
- Advise senior leaders on reputational, legislative, and environmental issues, ensuring proactive and responsible communication.
- Lead crisis and issues management, protecting trust and supporting business resilience.
- Engage key stakeholders and advocates to support business growth and restaurant expansion.
Building Communications & Advocacy
- Develop and execute an integrated communications strategy that amplifies McDonalds purpose and positive impact.
- Support leadership with compelling messaging and storytelling that connects with both internal and external audiences.
- Strengthen relationships with media, agencies, NGOs, and community partners.
- Lead high-impact internal and external events that inspire engagement and reinforce McDonalds role in the community.
- Track, measure, and report on communications performance to demonstrate real results.
Advancing Sustainability & Social Good
- Champion McDonalds sustainability and social responsibility agenda, including Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
- Drive initiatives that reduce environmental footprint and build stronger local communities.
- Share McDonalds progress with authenticity and pride, celebrating real stories of positive change.
To be successful in this role, your professional background should cover:
- Degree in Communications, Social Sciences, Public Affairs, International Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in communications, PR, sustainability, CSR, or stakeholder relations. Experience in hospitality or retail is a strong plus.
- A strategic mindset and hands-on experience in creating and managing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of any Baltic language is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidence in working with partners and agencies while managing several projects simultaneously.
