Requirements:

Engineer’s degree in civil engineering/mechanics or similar.
Previous job experience in related field.
Advanced level of English and Latvian languages. (English is necessary for communication with an international team of engineers and foreign partner companies).
Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor requested.
Familiarity with engineering standards, construction methods, and technical documentation
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in plant environments

Main responsibilities:

Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD Inventor and other CAD software for plant layouts, structural components, and mechanical systems.
Develop detailed 2D and 3D models of industrial facilities.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
Plan and optimize plant layouts to ensure efficient workflow, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineering teams, clients, or regulatory bodies.
Maintain drawing documentation and ensure version control throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure design feasibility and alignment with construction practices.
Conduct site visits to gather measurements, verify existing conditions, and support installation or construction phases.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations in all design work.
Support project scheduling and cost estimation by providing accurate technical documentation and material take-offs.
