We are Red Umbrella Tours – a company founded in Helsinki, Finland in 2018. We offer high-quality tours to customers from all over the world. With over 8,000 online reviews, we are the most reviewed tour company in Finland. On freetour.com, we even won the award for the 2nd best tour company in the world!

In January 2026, we expanded our operations to include Riga, Latvia, in order to service the increasing cross-border tourism.

Due to further increased demand, we are now looking for more English- and Spanish-speaking guides in Riga.

You should have a love for Riga – a TRUE LOVE for the city – and a desire to showcase it to your customers in the best possible way on each and every tour. Our high-quality tours cover a range of topics, from architecture and history to stories of how the city of Riga grew, our culture, and much more.

You should be CONFIDENT and FLUENT in either English or Spanish, as these are the primary languages of the tours. Leading large groups in the center of Riga with a microphone and being the center of attention is almost guaranteed. You should therefore ask yourself before applying if this sounds like something you can do.

WE OFFER FREE TRAINING – which can be completed in under a week. You do NOT need prior experience as a guide. From the moment you read this, in less than a week you could be leading tours in Riga! We provide free tour materials such as speakers, folders, photos, and more.

Everything you need to start as a guide – with no investment and no risk to you.

Guides work as self-employed contractors, and we invoice you for the customers you have hosted on the tour. Our guides consistently earn over €80 per 2.5-hour tour, and in addition, you can also earn referral bonuses. This role should be considered part-time, as income is variable. However, we offer tours more than three times per day, so there is potential to earn a strong income.

Suitable for students, those currently unemployed, or individuals with part-time employment.
