Latvia-based aircraft maintenance organization Airline Support Baltic is looking for a Planning Manager in our Engine Repair Shop. We are looking for a qualified professional to plan production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure the Engine Shop has the optimum workload, so engines are delivered on time and in a profitable manner.

Position Location – Riga, Latvia.
Employment Status – Full-time.

Main responsibilities:

• Plan and control short-, mid-, and long-term forecasts for the production of the engine repairs.
• Plan engine repairs to ensure maximum performance and avoid any delay.
• Prioritize the workload to ensure smooth operations and delivery in accordance to customer expectations.
• Make sure that each man-hour for the repair of the engines is utilized with the maximum value.
• Monitor engine repairs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
• Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Support the production with manhour control and efficiency reports.
• Determine manpower and equipment needed to cover production demand.
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
• Evaluate current production processes and recommend improvements.
• Notify customers on any delays, risks and associated actions.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree from aeronautical or other studies relevant to the maintenance;
• Three years relevant experience in aviation industry;
• Two years experience in aircraft maintenance on supervisory position;
• Fluent English – both verbal and written;
• Working knowledge of MS Office (ERP systems will be a plus);
• Well organized and results oriented;
• Proficient in time management and problem-solving skills;
• Good at math and statistics;
• Production planning experience.
