Latvia MGI Tech, a part of BGI Group - one of the world’s leading genomics organizations, is
looking for a full-time Quality Inspector.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and plan workflow for incoming/outgoing and in-process Quality section to
assure effectiveness and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with legal, customer, and integrated ISO13485 management
system requirements.
• Ensure incoming inspections are done effectively with conformance to defined
specifications to customer requirements and record inaccurate quality records/forms.
Ensure GRN are done within 24 hours.
• Provide training to employees on required workflow, workmanship standards,
measurement metrology, MSA, Statistical Process Control.
• Ensure SQ/IPQC are done effectively and timely for all processes in accordance with
Operation Instructions.
• Constantly review SQ/IPQC metrology, jig, and gauges for continuous improvements.
• Support first level root cause analysis to allow production to resolve issues more
effectively.
• Investigate and implement solutions to process or material-related problems.
• Initiate system changes for all departments, to prevent re-occurrence of failures.
• Work with production to ensure suspect or discrepant materials are quarantined with
appropriate disposition and identification provided.
• Work in production with appropriate containment action to restart line for delivery.
• Manage new material qualifications and process developments as required.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Previous work experience in a similar role in an international work environment.
• Good English language skills are required.
• The ability to work effectively individually and as a part of a team.
