Board Member/ Chief Operating Officer
I-Work Group's client is an educational institution looking for
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Contribution to strategic planning and strategy follow-up;
- Seeking fundraising initiatives to contribute to the sustainable financial management
of the organization; - Budgeting and budget controls (monthly management reporting);
- Establishing procedures for compliance with tax and other legislation;
- Establishing internal financial and operating controls and procedures;
- Stakeholder management – community, staff, financiers, government institutions.
Requirements:
- An university degree, preferably advanced and in the field of business administration,
finances or equivalent; - 5+ years track record in senior leadership positions, preferably in finance;
- A demonstrated track record of fundraising;
- Knowledge of Latvian legal environment;
- Excellent command of Latvian and English;
- A team player and international mindedness.
