We are looking for a Chief Accountant to join our team within the Dyninno Group fintech division, overseeing accounting operations and reporting across two fintech businesses within a shared service center structure - Ecofinance and MultiPass.
While the businesses operate in consumer lending and B2B cross-border payments, the Latvia-based accounting function is primarily focused on classical accounting, intercompany transactions, annual reporting, and participation in group audits without direct client transaction handling, which is supported by other countries.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, including payroll accounting;
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to ensure fast closing process;
- Prepare external regulatory reporting – including statutory financial statements (IFRS/local), corporate income tax and VAT filings and statistical reports;
- Provide management with relevant information or analysis to support business decisions;
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations;
- Manage the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors, as well as prepare information according to Group/holding audits requests;
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation;
- Participate in annual budgeting.
- Carry out other duties according to the direct manager's order.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
- 4+ years of experience in accounting;
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles;
- Excellent communication, problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines;
- Good knowledge of Latvian English language as the company is international and has foreign employees and partners, and the nature of the work requires close cooperation with them.
Wil be considered as advantage:
- Experience in the fintech or lending industry;
- Experience working with 1C accounting system.
We don't want to set limits, but if we are naming the numbers, then the range for this position is from 3000 EUR gross up to 3300 EUR gross per month depending on the applicant's professional experience in the relevant field.
