What we expect from you:
- Educational background in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience, preferably in construction or engineering companies.
- Fluent English (spoken and written) and native Latvian (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Advanced Excel knowledge and experience with ERP systems.
- Experience in the full accounting cycle.
- General accounting, invoicing, and closing management.
- Experience in tax filing (VAT, CIT...).
- Valued: experience as an administrative/accounting manager (more than financial).
- Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable to international work environments.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Invoice accounting and book keeping entries.
- Document management and financial record keeping.
- Communication and coordination with suppliers and clients.
- Tax comparison and compliance monitoring.
- Preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and period-end closings.
- Support with tax filings, payroll, and social security processes, in coordination with local advisors.
