What we are looking for
- 3 - 5 years experience in freight forwarding or transport operations
- Strong experience organising international road transport
- Experience with European transport markets and carrier networks
- Fluent Latvian and English communication skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Commercial mindset and customer orientation
Preffered
- Experience with sea freight or air freight operations
- Experience with quotations and rate negotiations
- Experience using forwarding software (Cloudex is a plus)
- Additional language skills are an advantage
Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate international road transport operations across Europe
- Manage shipments from A to Z, including planning, execution, and follow-up
- Communicate with customers, carriers, subcontractors, and partners daily
- Source transport capacity and negotiate rates with carriers
- Prepare quotations and transport solutions
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively solve operational issues
- Handle transport documentation and administration
- Collaborate with colleagues supporting sea freight, air freight, warehousing, and project logistics
- Maintain strong customer relationships and service quality
- Support growth of customer accounts through proactive service
