About
We are looking for an unusually passionate AI enthusiast who can combine business development, solution design, storytelling and rapid prototyping.
This is not a traditional sales role for someone who has learned a few AI buzzwords. We are looking for someone who actively experiments with AI, follows new developments almost every day and naturally sees opportunities to transform businesses with it.
You should be able to enter a client meeting, understand the underlying business problem, imagine several possible AI-based solutions and discuss their architecture, feasibility, value and limitations. After the meeting, you should be excited to create a quick prototype or demonstration that makes the idea tangible.
You do not need to be a full-time production software developer. However, you must be comfortable using AI APIs, coding agents, automation platforms, low-code tools and other technologies to independently create prototypes and prove that an idea can work.
What you will do
- Identify business problems where AI, automation and modern software can create meaningful value.
- Lead customer conversations from initial discovery through solution design, proposal, negotiation and closing.
- Generate concrete AI solution concepts during client meetings and workshops.
- Explain complex AI possibilities through convincing stories, examples and demonstrations.
- Create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions, independently or together with our technical specialists.
- Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical opportunities for insurance, finance, manufacturing and other industries.
- Continuously explore new AI models, agent frameworks, voice technologies, multimodal systems, automation tools and development approaches.
- Build a pipeline of AI pilots, implementation projects and longer-term customer relationships.
- Work with Proof IT’s technical teams to turn successful prototypes into secure, scalable and production-ready solutions.
- Help package repeatable AI solutions and develop Proof IT’s overall AI offering.
- Share important AI developments, experiments and new opportunities with colleagues and customers.
What we expect
- AI is more than a professional topic for you. You actively experiment, build, test and learn because you are genuinely fascinated by what is becoming possible.
- You have created AI prototypes, applications, agents, automations or technical experiments that you can demonstrate or describe in detail.
- You can independently turn an unclear business problem into a structured solution concept and a convincing prototype.
- You understand the practical possibilities and limitations of modern AI, including large language models, AI agents, retrieval and knowledge systems, voice AI, multimodal AI, workflow automation and system integrations.
- You can discuss architecture, data, security, reliability, implementation effort and cost sufficiently well to establish credibility with technical stakeholders.
- You understand the difference between an impressive demonstration and a production-ready business solution.
- You are a strong storyteller who can make customers see and understand possibilities they had not previously considered.
- You have experience or a strong natural ability in business development, entrepreneurship, consulting or solution sales.
- You can uncover the customer’s real problem rather than merely responding to the initial request.
- You are comfortable initiating conversations, presenting ideas, writing proposals, negotiating and asking for the deal.
- You communicate very well in Latvian and English.
This role may not be for you if
- You are primarily an account manager who prefers to leave solution creation entirely to a technical team.
- You follow AI mainly through general news but rarely experiment with the technology yourself.
- You enjoy discussing ideas but are less interested in turning them into prototypes, pilots and signed projects.
- You need detailed instructions before exploring a new technology or customer opportunity.
- You are looking for a purely technical development role without commercial responsibility.
What success looks like
Within your first months, you will have established yourself as one of Proof IT’s strongest sources of new AI ideas and opportunities.
Customers should leave meetings with you thinking, “We had not considered solving the problem that way.”
You will be able to move quickly from a customer problem to a proposed solution, a demonstrable prototype and a commercially viable pilot. At the same time, you will work with our engineering teams to ensure that what we promise is realistic, valuable and deliverable.
