We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our team in Latvia. This is a role focused on internal logistics activities at our logistics warehouse in Riga. We are looking for an accurate, organised and responsible person with previous warehouse experience, a hands-on approach and good attention to detail. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable and willing to learn, with the potential to grow within the role and take on additional responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation for Shipments: Gather and prepare equipment for outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are accurately packed and labeled for delivery.
- Receiving Goods: Coordinate the receipt of goods from suppliers, verifying the accuracy and quality of incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Inventory Control: Assist in monitoring inventory levels of equipment and supplies, reporting discrepancies as necessary.
- Maintaining warehouse records in the 1C system;
- Optimizing logistics processes to improve warehouse efficiency;
- Preparing reports for the insurance company and management.
- Occasional business trips.
Requirements:
- Experience in logistics or warehouse operations; ;
- Proficient user of MS Windows and MS Office (Outlook, Excel);
- Good communication skills (communication with courier services and other company departments);
- English language skills at Intermediate level or higher;
- Systematic and responsible approach to work, with strong attention to detail;
- Understanding of the documentation required for cargo transportation;
- Knowledge of the "1C" software will be an advantage.
