IT Systems Administrator

ITELVO SIA

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and trustworthy IT Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a high-trust position, and we are looking for someone we can genuinely rely on-an honest, responsible professional who takes ownership of their work and can be counted on when support is needed.

Because IT issues can sometimes arise outside regular working hours, the successful candidate must be reachable and available to provide support in urgent or critical situations when needed, including outside standard office hours.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, laptops, and other IT equipment for employees
  • Installing, configuring, updating, and maintaining required software
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
  • Providing day-to-day technical support to employees
  • Maintaining accurate records and managing the inventory of company IT equipment
  • Analyzing laptop and other IT equipment specifications to ensure they meet employees' business and performance requirements
  • Maintaining and supporting network infrastructure and connectivity
  • Following established IT procedures, security policies, and management instructions
  • Ensuring compliance with security and protection requirements
  • Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration and alignment of systems and processes
  • Responding promptly to urgent IT incidents and providing immediate support when critical issues arise, such as loss of Wi-Fi or network connectivity, workstation or laptop failures, hardware breakdowns, inability to access essential systems or accounts, software failures, or other technical issues that prevent employees from working effectively.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in System Administration
  • Higher education in IT, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Ability to quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and technical issues
  • Hands-on experience with network equipment, including MikroTik, Cisco, and Aruba
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and VLAN
  • Experience with software installation, configuration, updating, and maintenance
  • Understanding of information security principles, access control, and data protection
  • Ability to carefully and consistently follow technical instructions, established procedures, IT policies, and management directions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Strong attention to detail, responsibility, and a structured approach to work
  • Good collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
  • High level of honesty, integrity, discretion, and personal responsibility
  • Dependable and trustworthy, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Someone the company and team can confidently rely on, particularly when urgent or critical IT support is required
  • Willingness and ability to be reachable and provide assistance outside regular working hours when urgent situations require it.

We Offer:
  • Office-based position, working hours 11:00–19:00
  • Modern, welcoming, and comfortable office environment with ergonomic workstations
  • Monthly salary: €1,800–€3,000 gross, with growth opportunities
  • Premium-level health insurance, including dental care, physiotherapy, massages, and more
  • Covered gym membership or another sports activity of your choice, including swimming, bowling, dancing, horseback riding, boxing, and more
  • Corporate events and team-building activities
  • Well-stocked office kitchen with daily snacks, fruits, coffee, and beverages
  • An energetic, friendly, and supportive team.

If you are a technically strong, responsible, and trustworthy IT professional who takes ownership of your work and can be relied upon when it matters most, we would be happy to hear from you.
