Own and evolve cloud services
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned cloud services and ensure they meet business and operational requirements.
- Drive service performance, availability, resilience, security, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute service improvement initiatives and roadmaps.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure delivery against agreed commitments.
- Oversee service performance, governance, risk management, and operational reviews.
- Drive accountability across internal teams and external partners.
Drive operational excellence
- Ensure service levels are achieved and continuously improved.
- Support incident, problem, change, and service management processes.
- Maintain clear service documentation, reporting, and governance structures.
- Monitor service costs and budgets while identifying optimization opportunities.
- Support business cases, investment planning, and value realization.
- Provide meaningful performance, risk, and roadmap reporting to stakeholders.
Collaborate across the organization
- Build strong relationships with business leaders, technology teams, and suppliers.
- Act as a trusted advisor for service-related decisions, priorities, and escalations.
- Contribute to cloud transformation initiatives and cross-functional programmes.
You have:
Experience
- Proven experience in Service Delivery Management, IT Service Management, or a similar leadership role.
- Experience managing enterprise infrastructure or cloud services in a complex environment.
- Strong track record of vendor and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with service governance, operational management, and continuous improvement.
Cloud and technical knowledge
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and enterprise cloud environments.
- Knowledge of Azure governance, identity management, and security practices.
- Experience with cloud networking, hybrid environments, and modern infrastructure operations.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud deployment practices.
Personal qualities
- Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance cost, risk, and business value.
- Excellent communication and influencing capabilities.
- Analytical, structured, and results-oriented.
- Passion for service excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in service delivery, IT operations, or related areas.
- Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM practices; relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Experience working in Agile and cross-functional environments.
