We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lawyer specializing in Immigration Law and Corporate Compliance to join our team and provide high-quality legal support, advise the company and its investors on immigration and corporate matters, and ensure adherence to applicable Latvian and international regulatory requirements.

Job Purpose: To provide all types of legal support for the management of the company's and its clients' (investors') immigration matters, as well as to oversee and ensure the company's corporate compliance with Latvian and international legal acts, with a strong focus on AML/KYC requirements.

Manage and coordinate all processes related to Temporary/Permanent Residence Permits (TRP/DRP) for client-investors, ensuring full compliance with the Immigration Law.

Prepare, submit, and oversee residence permit applications and other necessary documents to the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (PMLP) and other state institutions.

Provide legal advice to company management and investors on immigration law issues, corporate structure, investment compliance, and AML/KYC regulations.

Represent the company and its clients in administrative procedures and disputes with state institutions, including PMLP and the Enterprise Register.

Develop and maintain internal AML/KYC policies and procedures, ensuring their effective implementation and staff training.

Conduct legal due diligence in investor cases, identifying and mitigating risks.

Monitor legislative changes in Latvia and the European Union regarding immigration law, commercial law, and the financial sector.

Prepare legal opinions, contract drafts, powers of attorney, and other legal documents.

Cooperate with external legal consultants, if necessary.

Higher legal education (Master's degree preferred).

At least 3-5 years of experience in a legal role, specializing in immigration law and/or corporate compliance.

Excellent knowledge of the Republic of Latvia's Immigration Law, Commercial Law, as well as AML/KYC regulatory acts and international sanctions.

Experience working with state institutions (PMLP, Enterprise Register, State Revenue Service, Financial and Capital Market Commission).

Ability to handle complex cases, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent proficiency in Latvian and English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High sense of responsibility, precision, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
