We’re looking for an ambitious and energetic Executive Director who can hit the ground running and deliver our annual programme of events, as well as leading the day-to-day activities of the Chamber. The role of the Executive Director is to facilitate relationships and networking between members, British and Latvian businesses and the broader community. This involves the development and delivery of an annual programme of events.

• Experience of event management, including attracting sponsorship and negotiating with suppliers.

• Effective relationship-builder and communicator who can use social media effectively.

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities to get things done.

• Fluent Latvian and English.

• Deliver our annual programme of networking events to budget.

• Maintain a digital presence on all relevant platforms to ensure visibility of BritCham and its activities.

• Communicate and maintain good relationships with our members, the British Embassy, other Chambers and organisations.

• Work with the board to retain and develop our membership base.

• Indicative salary is €2,000 to €2,500 gross per month plus health insurance and the possibility for a performance bonus.

• Flexible working – as long as you put in the hours!

• Based at the British Embassy (which will require security clearance)
