IT Customer Support Agent (German/English)
Location: Riga, Latvia | Hybrid work (up to 40% home office)
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level and second-level IT support for internal users across different locations.
- Handle incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
- Independently diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and Microsoft 365-related issues efficiently.
- Escalate complex incidents to the appropriate technical teams when necessary.
- Assist with user account management (Active Directory, email, access rights).
- Support the rollout of IT updates, patches, and hardware replacements.
- Maintain clear documentation of support cases and solutions.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
- Conduct basic user training and provide guidance on IT best practices.
- Take ownership of assigned incidents from initial diagnosis through resolution.
- Prioritize and process support requests according to defined SLAs and service processes.
Your Profile:
- Completed education in IT or equivalent work experience.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in IT support, service desk, helpdesk, or a similar technical support environment.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English (both required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Practical experience with Windows clients, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory; experience with macOS clients is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly and accurately document incidents, troubleshooting steps, solutions, and technical knowledge.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours to support international teams.
