What we are looking for
- High conscientiousness and ability to work independently
- Experience in the road transport industry and transport planning
- Great organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Stress-resistance and experience in night/weekend shift work
- Ability to work in a high paced environment and solve any problem on your own
- You will work either from our Riga office, with a couple of weeks onboarding in Berlin
- Fluent in English, German or any additional language skills (like Latvian, Russian, Lithuanian, or Polish) are a plus
What you will be doing
- You are responsible for the punctual and sensible disposition of our line haul transports during the nights and weekends
- You manage and monitor ongoing tours and ensure the high quality requirements of our customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our carriers
- You ensure to have all operational information always available
- Manage and solve incidents with high accuracy and find solution and measures to prevent delivery failures
- Close monitoring of performance KPIs (punctuality, incident rate, waiting hours etc)
- You will take full ownership and responsibility for all transports in transit during nights and weekends
