Group Accountant

We value transparency, reliability, and professional approach in our daily routines inwards and outwards. We are looking for a new colleague Group Accountant - ensuring smooth day- to- day accounting, as well as related process improvements across our businesses.

• Intercompany invoicing on a monthly basis and following up on overdue invoices;
• Process supplier invoices and make supplier payments, follow up outstanding creditors;
• Daily bank payments preparation and recording of the transitions to accounting soft;
Review the month-end closing of the bank account summary;
• Record sales and related inventory, cooperate with sales and IT teams to improve the
process;
• Perform account reconciliations and analysis of all accounts to ensure their accuracy on a
monthly basis;
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing of books;
• Assist in external audits;
• Participate in implementation of updates of accounting and tax policies;
• Participate in development and implementation of accounting internal controls;
• Support and consult external and local accountants in other countries. 

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or a related field;
• At least 2 years of successful experience in accounting;
• Very good knowledge of Latvian accounting standards and tax regulations;
• Outstanding organizational skills with high attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently and plan your own time to reach maximum efficiency;
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, experience in using accounting software;
• Fluency in Latvian and English.
