Jet Concierge Europe is a company that is part of an international group of aviation companies and provides services to a variety of cross-border aviation companies (both in the field of scheduled passenger transport and business aviation)
We are looking for a Tax Specialist

Dear Candidates, the experience from 3 years in this position and Upper-Intermediate English and Russian is obligatory for this vacancy

Tax Specialist in the aviation group of companies

• Tax audit, tax analise, consulting in local and EU tax area (internal): chiefly Latvia, Cyprus,
Malta;
• Tax audit, tax analysis, tax consulting (internal), mainly on operations in Latvia, Cyprus,
Malta;
• Consulting in customs issues area (internal);
• Contracts review (for tax risks mitigation);
• Negotiations with tax authorities for obtaining of tax rulings, settlement of different
questions arising out of audits, tax reconciliations, receiving of tax clearance etc.;
• Initiating of tax payments;
• Assistance to accountants in filling out VAT-forms, VAT refunds and declaring in VIES

• Strong knowledge of Lavian and Cyprus tax legislation, knowledge of EU tax legislation in
part of VAT, intra-community transactions, international transport; customs legislation,
experience in business-aviation and knowledge of Maltese and Austrian tax legislation will
be a plus;
• Experience as Tax specialist at least 3 years;
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Customs/Accounting/Finance or related discipline;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Spoken Russian for daily work;
• Attention to details, good communication skills, ability to work under pressure, very strong
analytical skills and prioritization of tasks
• Excellent in MS Office (Excel) and other office programs and applications:
• Readiness for multitasking and ability plan own time;
• Proactive and friendly character

• Excellent experience working in one of the largest aviation group in Eastern Europe;

• Workplace in Mārupe (in the territory of Riga International Airport) or in Jūrmala (Dzintari);
